Educational Requirements: Preferably with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution. Experience working with children or students in a leadership capacity is an asset. Some teaching experience or practicum.

Description

It is the purpose of the elementary teacher to implement and assess curriculum to help students develop various skills and educational requirements to prepare them to enter the job market or pursue further education. Start date, March 2025.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching, Planning & Assessing in the Elementary for Grade 2:

The Elementary Teacher Will:

Prepare, implement and assess lesson plans.
Teach all students in a respectful, considerate, compassionate manner, reflecting Christ’s love for us daily.
Work collegially with school staff, school-based administration and other volunteer staff.
Understand & fundamentally agree with the School’s Mission, Core Values, and Statement of Faith
Sign a one-year contract.
